Course Description:
Massage practitioners see clients complaining of pain, soft tissue injuries or
dysfunctions. Postural assessment/body reading is the first step in determining
what musculoskeletal structures are creating the problem. This course will assist
you in how to perform a comprehensive body reading to interpret involved structures,
and create a clear intention for your treatment goals. This assessment knowledge
will also rule out any treatment that may be contraindicated. Comprehension of body
reading will additionally provide a baseline of objective information, needed to
measure the effectiveness of the treatment. Join us for these very informative
classes that will give you the knowledge to treat the cause not just the symptoms.
Method of Learning:
PowerPoint presentation and hands on body reading/postural assessment. A handout
